SRH Hochschule Berlin has partner universities throughout the world, from Eastern Europe to North America. We are continuously expanding our network and will soon be establishing partnerships with universities in other parts of the world.
Below is a list of our current partner universities, with which we have various cooperative partnerships from student exchanges, faculty/staff exchanges, dual degree programs, summer schools, and joint research activities. Nehemiah Gateway University is a private university right next to the beautiful Lake Ohrid in southern Albania. It is committed to providing the highest quality education to students so that they can become successful professionals in their chosen fields. The university advocates a student-centered teaching approach with small class sizes, state-of-the-art technology, and accessibility of faculty to students. Entrepreneurship, innovation, and creative thinking are especially encouraged in all courses.
MCI Management Center Innsbruck was founded in 1995 and currently has 800 faculty members and 3,600 students. It is located in the beautiful city of Innsbruck and consists of five different campuses located throughout the city center. The MCI Management Center has a strong international orientation and all of its students are encouraged to study abroad at one of their 160 international partner universities.
The Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) is a public university in Florianopolis, Brazil. Founded in 1960, it has since been training highly skilled professionals and is currently home to over 34,500 students and 1,610 faculty members. Today it is ranked one of the best centers of higher education in Brazil and one of the leading Latin-American research universities.
The Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (São Paolo State University, or UNESP for short) is considered the third most important university in Brazil because of its renowned professors and scientific publications. It has 23 campuses spread throughout São Paolo – the richest and most industrial state in Brazil – and is considered a highly successful model of a multicampus university. Programs of study include 169 undergraduate programs and 115 graduate programs with a special focus on fields of experimental and theoretical science.
Universidade Federal de Pernambuco is a public university founded in Recife, Brazil in 1946. Today it has three campuses located in Recife, Caruaru, and Vitória de Santo Antão. It offers 95 undergraduate courses and 175 postgraduate courses. The Universidade Federal de Pernambuco is ranked highly among Brazilian universities: the nationwide Ranking Universitario Folha put it in tenth place in its list of Top 20 Brazilian universities (based on internationally recognized criteria such as research, teaching, internationalization, and innovation).
Founded in 1940, PUC-Rio was the first private institute of higher education in Brazil. It is a Catholic university founded on Christian humanistic principles and welcome students of all religions, nationalities, ethnic groups and social classes. In the Quacquarelli Symonds University Ranking of Latin America 2013, PUC-Rio was ranked in the 1st position among private universities in Brazil and in the 18th position overall (out of 200 evaluated universities).
The European Polytechnical University was founded in 2010. It is located in Pernik, Bulgaria and combines the best of European and American higher education. It considers itself a multinational center of interaction between education, research, and business cooperations. All Bachelor programmes are taught in English, and Master’s programmes are available in both English and Bulgarian.
Technical University Sofia is the largest technical university in Bulgaria. It specializes in the fields of engineering and management, and offers training in three foreign language faculties. The university carries out theoretical and applied research and collaborates with companies such as Siemens and Microsoft.
Sofia University "St. Kliment of Ohridski" was founded in 1888 and is the oldest institute of higher education in Bulgaria. Today it is the largest university in the country with 102 degree programmes offered by 16 faculties. Its student enrollment is close to 14,000 and its teaching staff includes some of the best specialists in Bulgaria in all major areas of the sciences and humanities. Sofia University has over 80 partner universities worldwide and is an active participant in the EU Lifelong Learning Programme.
The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences was founded in 1849 and is located in the capital city of Sofia. It has 9 main academic sections, each of which consists of independent scientific institutes and laboratories: mathematical sciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences, biological sciences, earth sciences, engineering sciences, humanities, social sciences, and specialized and supporting units. The Academy also runs its own publishing house and publishes a number of scientific journals and encyclopedias.
ISICOM (Institut supérieur de l'informatique et de la communication) is a private institute of higher education in Cameroon. It was founded in 2011 and is located in Douala, the largest city and commercial capital of the country. Its mission is to educate and prepare students for leading positions in the growing sectors of trade, management, marketing, and information technology.
Capilano University is an undergraduate-focused, public, teaching-intensive university located in the District of North Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. The university was founded in 1968 and has a current enrollment of approximately 7,500 students. The beauty of the campus and the quality of education attract students from around the world.
De La Salle University is a private institute of higher education founded in 1964. It has three campuses spread throughout the capital city of Bogotá and one more in Yopal. UdLS is a Catholic university and each of its campuses has a chapel open to the public. The university has 8 colleges offering a total of 23 academic degree programmes, 16 specializations and 5 Master’s degrees.
The University of Havana was founded in 1728, making it the oldest university in Cuba and one of the oldest in the Americas. It is made up of 16 faculties and 14 research centers in the fields of economics, sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The university has approximately 6,000 degree-seeking students.
Anglo-American University was founded in 1990 and is the oldest private institution of higher education in the Czech Republic. The AAU is located in beautiful baroque palaces in Prague's historic Malá Strana. The language of instruction is English. All Classes of Intensive Academic English and Elementary Czech are available to foreign students.
The Metropolitan University Prague is a Public Benefit Corporation which was founded in 2001 and has approximately 5500 Students. Programs of study include international territorial relations, legal specializations and international economic relations. The university provides a diverse academic environment which includes support for students with physical disabilities.
The Institute of Hospitality Management was founded in 1999 and currently offers 5 Bachelor’s and 4 Master’s programmes. Its goal is to offer highly professional preparation for students interested in service industry careers. The study programmes cover all major fields of study in Gastronomy, Hotel Management, and Tourism. They also recently introduced the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, which, together with the Prague International Business School (PIBS) at the University of Economics (VSE), is accredited for awarding the title of MBA.
The Lillebaelt Academy was established in 2009 by the merging of several colleges including Tietgen Business College, SDE College, Kold College and Vejle Business College. It is the largest business academy in southern Denmark and offers a wide range of degree programmes including AP and BA programmes. Areas of focus include IT, technology, economics, trade, nutrition, and service/hospitality.
EAC Group is a private establishment of higher education in Engineering Arts and Culture. It is located in Paris and its three main areas of study are the Art Market, Cultural Management and Luxury. The EAC Group’s objective is to propel students onto the cultural scene in which they will be recognized as experts.
The INSEEC group was founded in 1975. Partner Universities are located in the heart of Paris, Bordeaux and Lyon. Classes are offered in English and in French. INSEEC is a renowned Business University.
The American College of Greece is Europe’s oldest and largest U.S.-accredited academic institution. The DEREE Undergraduate Academics offer an expansive selection of academic programs, outstanding faculty, and comprehensive support services. Graduates have a strong track record of success finding employment and building successful careers.
The ALBA Graduate Business School is a leading European graduate business school and is internationally respected. Its faculty members are experienced and published academics many of whom come from abroad from universities such as INSEAD, London Business School and Harvard Business School. ALBA students gain knowledge and experience through extensive case studies, field-based work, and the development of business plans.
Founded in 1920, Athens University of Economics and Business is the third oldest university in Greece and the oldest educational institution in the fields of economics and business administration. It is highly ranked - both in Greece and internationally - in the fields of science that it covers. The university is composed of 8 academic departments and offers an MBA that is fully taught in English.
Founded in 1920 as an institute of technology under Dutch colonial administration and established by the Indonesian government as the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1959, ITB has long been considered a highly prestigious university in the country. It is located in the city of Bandung, in the mountainous area of West Java, at an altitude of 770 meters. The first president of the Republic of Indonesia earned his engineering degree at ITB.
The Griffith College Dublin was founded in 1974. The University is located a single kilometer from the heart of Dublin. Griffith has 7 departments with approximately 8000 students. The university enjoys a strong national reputation and growing international reputation for student success.
Out of the four public universities in Rome, Sapienza (meaning “wisdom” or “knowledge”) is the oldest. It was founded in 1303 by Pope Boniface VIII and over the centuries has contributed to the development of Italian science and culture in all areas of knowledge. It is also the largest European university by enrollment (with 140,000 students) and is ranked among the top 3% of universities worldwide. The main campus is located in the area of Rome called “university city” which lies very close to the center and functions as a kind of city within a city for its students. It has eleven faculties and 65 departments, and therefore offers a large array of courses and degree programmes.
The Libera Universita Maria Ss. Assunta, also known as LUMSA, is a private Italian Catholic University in Rome and was founded in 1939. LUMSA places great stress on its students’ needs, promoting lifelong education and providing young people with the skills which will help them in their future professions and their wider social responsibilities. Its lecturers are highly qualified and integrate humanistic and classical knowledge with economics, information technology, and management.
The University of Rome "Tor Vergata" is a public university located in Rome. It was established in 1981 and its current student enrollment is 43,000. The university combines a liberal arts education with a career-oriented focus in the fields of Economics, Engineering, Science and Medicine. One of the most modern university hospitals in Italy is located on its campus. The university also participates frequently in international projects and faculty research is often involved in networking with industries.
Kansai University is a private non-sectarian university located in Osaka. It was originally founded as Kansai Law School – the first law school in Osaka – in 1886. It was granted the official status of university in 1922. Today, the university offers 7 faculties in undergraduate and graduate studies. Along with its attached senior and junior high schools and kindergarten, it has a total student body of 27,000.
ISM was founded in 1999 as the first privately-owned institution of management education in Lithuania. Campuses are located in Vilnius and Kaunas. International professors offer classes to the student body totaling approximately 1800 in number. ISM is a dynamic and modern European university of management and economics, serving lifelong educational needs of individuals, business and society in general.
The University was founded in 2003 and was built directly on the Bologna system. The academic staff members come from all around the world and work in interdisciplinary teams. The university serves the society and economy of Luxembourg and has become a driving force of economic diversification. The goals are to provide superior teaching, contribute to research and to participate in knowledge transfer.
MMU is a private university in Malaysia. It has three campuses in Melaka, Cyberjaya, and Iskandar Puteri. The university has 9 faculties and 19 research centres. In 2009, MMU was ranked at 171 by THES-QS in the Asian University Rankings, the first private university in Malaysia to achieve this. MMU was also rated tier 5 (Excellent) in the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education SETARA Rating in 2010 and 2011.
Tecnológico de Monterrey is an institute of higher education which prepares students to become responsible citizens who contribute to their community’s social development. The University was founded in 1943 as a result of the far-reaching vision and the commitment of Eugenio Garza Sada. Tecnológico de Monterrey is a private, non-profit, independent educational institution with no political or religious affiliation.
The Autonomous University of Querétaro is a Mexican public university located in the city of Santiago de Querétaro. The historic center of the city has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and today Querétaro is one of the fastest-growing cities in Mexico. The university was founded in 1951 and has approximately 8,500 students.
The Universidad del Caribe was founded in 2000 and is located in Cancún, Mexico, on the beautiful Yucatán Peninsula. In 2011, the university received the Academic Excellence Award from the National Education Department for the fifth consecutive year in a row. Its three academic departments are Basic Sciences and Engineering, Economics and Business Studies and Tourism, and Hotel Management and Culinary Arts.
UTVCO was founded in 2009 in response to the demand for higher education among young people in Oaxaca. Today, the university has an enrollment of more than 1,200 students and young professionals. Its mission is to train competent professionals who will contribute to the sustainable, economic and social development of the region and state.
Universidad de las Américas offers quality study programmes of academic excellence through its faculty of 300 full time professors. UDLAP aims its efforts to deliver a high level educational service, through an integral formation of its students in a multicultural environment based on respect and international cooperation. The university is located in Puebla, one of the most important colonial cities in Mexico and its fourth largest city.
Mongolia International University is a private institute of higher education located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It was founded in 2002 and is committed to providing a world-class education to its more than 800 students. All courses are taught in English and most of the faculty come from abroad.
The University of Stavanger was founded in 2005. It has more than 9,000 students and 1,300 faculty, administration and service staff. The university is located in Stavanger, Norway, in one of the most attractive regions in the country. There is a strong collaboration between the university and local society and business, and many externally financed research activities are conducted in cooperation with the International Research Institute of Stavanger. Since 2012 the University of Stavanger is a member of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities.
Ostfold University College is located in southeastern Norway with campuses in both Halden and Fredrikstad. It is one of 24 public universities in Norway and was ranked 5th in the nation in the 2010 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. Ostfold University College has a student enrollment of approximately 4,500 and employs about 500 staff members. It offers over 60 fields of study.
The University San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL) is a private university located in the capital city of Lima. Its undegraduate programme consists of four schools and has a strong focus on entrepreneurship, business, and hospitality management. The university's mission is to "shape entrepreneurial professionals who are socially responsible."
Ataneo de Manila is the third-oldest university in the Philippines and also ranks among the top three universities nationwide. It offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programmes which are all taught in English. The university is known for its liberal arts tradition and also engages in social outreach. The main campus of Ataneo is in Loyola Heights, a nice neighborhood in the greater metropolitan area of Manila.
The University of Santo Tomas was founded in 1611 and is the oldest university in the Philippines and in Asia. It is the world's largest Catholic university and the largest university in the city of Manila. Its campus includes several buildings that have been declared National Cultural Treasures and the entire campus has been declared a National Historical Landmark. The university has been visited by two popes and many heads of states and foreign dignitaries.
The Torun School of Banking was founded in 1998 and is part of a network of private business schools in Poland, which forms a total of 20,000 students. Business Management is taught mainly in English and includes a diverse range of courses in management, marketing, finance and law. In general, Erasmus students can easily reach 30 credits per semester. The city itself has an active art and culture scene. It is known as the “Capital of Culture” with its definitive legacy which links the past and the present.
Wroclaw University of Technology was founded on the 24th of August in 1945. The university is located in the City of Wroclaw which is a leading city in economic development. The University of Technology is the second largest school of engineering in Poland, containing 12 departments and approximately 32,000 students. The University cooperates with the region and industry.
Lisbon University Institute, also known as ISCTE, was founded in 1972. ISCTE is a public university dedicated to research in three main fields: Business Studies, Technological Sciences, and the Social Sciences. They offer a wide variety of courses in English. ERASMUS Students can learn the Portuguese Language by attending the courses offered each semester.
- Institute of Business Studies (IBS) at Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Adminstration (Moscow, Russia)
Founded in 1988, IBS Moscow is a leading collegiate business school in Russia. It is committed to expertise in teaching, academic research, and international cooperation, and its MBA and EMBA programmes have been ranked by Business Week magazine as one of the best in the world.
Irkutsk State Technical University was originally founded in 1930 as the Siberian Mining Institute. Today it has a student enrollment of 30,000 and is therefore both the oldest and largest technical university in East Siberia. It is located in Irkutsk, a city of 600,000 residents that is surrounded by rolling hills and lies close to the famous Lake Baikal (the deepest and possibly oldest lake in the world).
The Universidad de Granada was founded in 1531. Its mission is to continue a long teaching tradition. Over 60,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students study at the Universidad de Granada. In recent years, the University has undergone the greatest period of growth in its history, making it one of Spain's largest universities.
The Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) is a public university that was founded in 1968. Today it has a student enrollment of 40,000 with 3,600 academic and research staff members. The UAB was ranked the best university in Spain by the 2012 QS World University Rankings. Its main campus is located about 20 km outside of the city centre.
The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid is one of the best public universities in Spain and is highly ranked for its academic research and quality of teaching. Its undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Economics are ranked first in the entire country. It is home to 19,000 students and is comprised of 3 campuses Getafe, Leganés, and Colmenarejo.
- University of the Basque Country (EHU): Bilbao Chamber of Commerce University College (EUCCB) (Bilbao, Spain)
The University of the Basque Country was founded in 1980 and is the only public university in the Basque Country, in Northern Spain. It has a current enrollment of 45,000 students and 5,000 academic staff members. The university offers 67 Bachelor programmes, 103 Master programmes, and 71 PhD programmes. Five of the Master programmes are International Masters and are taught jointly with other European universities.
The EUROAULA University School of Tourism is an institution specialized in tourism training which was founded in 1987. Since 1997, EUROAULA is affiliated with the University of Girona, offering the Degree in Tourism, the Double Degree in Tourism and Internacional Hospitality and Tourism Management, as well as various Master’s and postgraduate degrees. It is also part of the Association Européenne des Escoles d'Hôtellerie et de Tourisme, an International Organization that aims to promote the European Hotels and Tourism Schools.
The University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur was founded in 1963 and is comprised of six faculties, each offering Bachelor, Master and further education programs. With approximately 1600 students, HTW Chur provides an excellent learning environment with an intimate atmosphere, modern facilities, and small, student-oriented classes. The university is located in the oldest town in Switzerland in the canton of Graubünden near St. Moritz, Arosa, and Davos.
The Asian Institute of Technology is an international university located in Pathumthani province, about 40 kilometers north of Bangkok. It is comprised of three schools: the School of Engineering and Technology, the School of Environment, Resources, and Development, and the School of Management. The university promotes technological change and sustainable development and has an enrollment of 2,300 students from more than 47 countries.
Founded in 2003 as a foundation-owned private university, the TOBB University is a challenging institution for excellent and ambitious students only. TOBB currently has four departments with approximately 2200 students. Students who study at TOBB University can make great contacts in the business world.
The Bahçeşehir University was founded in 1998 as a non-profit university. The university has attracted a world-renowned academic staff and created a state of the art research and instructional facilities. International students who study at BU receive a memorable study abroad experience in one of the most cosmopolitan and global cities, Istanbul. The University’s mission is to educate the youth and mold them into the leaders of tomorrow.
Kadir Has University was founded in Istanbul in 1997 as a private non-profit institution. The university has five faculties and is located in the historical center of Istanbul, on the shores of the Golden Horn. Students can achieve academic excellence with a global perspective.
Marmara was founded in 1883 and has 13 departments. Marmara is a large university with 60,000 students. The Department of Economics and Administrative Sciences provides education in four different languages: Turkish, English, French and German.
Okan University was founded by Okan Culture, Education and Sports Foundation in 1999 and is one of the youngest and the most dynamic universities in Turkey. The university effectively combines theory and practice by employing an academic staff who are experts in their own fields, adopting a contemporary approach to education, and focusing on practice-oriented studies which prepare the students for business life, starting from their very first year of study.
The university is situated on the Asian side of the Bosporus in Istanbul. The Yeditepe was founded in 1996 and has 12 departments. Approximately 17000 students study at the Yeditepe. The main campus has a green landscaped area of 236,000 m². Next to the dormitory is a swimming pool for all to enjoy.
Kiev University was founded in 1834 and is considered the most prestigious university in the Ukraine. The student body currently numbers close to 20,000 students at 14 faculties and in 6 institutes. It is located in the capital city, Kiev, and is a major center of learning, research, and culture.
CSU is a leading research university founded in 1870. The current enrollment is approximately 29,932 students and, this year, it attracted more than $300 million in research funding. The university is located in northern Colorado at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Fort Collins is a midsize city of approximately 144,000 people, and was ranked by Money Magazine as the sixth "Best Place to live" in America in 2010.
Pace University is a private metropolitan university in New York. It has a current enrollment of 13,500 students and is known for combining exceptional academics with professional experience. Its New York City campus is located in lower Manhattan, in walking distance of many famous sites such as Wallstreet, Chinatown, and Little Italy.
San Jose State University (SJSU) is located in downtown San Jose at the southern end of San Francisco Bay. It was founded in 1857 as a school for training teachers for the developing frontier and is thus the oldest public institute of higher education in the state of California. Today it is a metropolitan university offering more than 134 Bachelor's and Master's degrees with 110 concentrations.
California State University, Fullerton is a public university located in Fullerton, Orange County, California. With 39,000 students, it has the second largest student body in the California State University system. The university offers 240 degrees, including 120 different Bachelor’s degrees, 118 Master’s degrees, 3 Doctoral degrees, and 19 teaching credentials. CSUF was ranked No. 23 among regional universities in the West by U.S. News and World Report in its 2012 rankings.
Northern Illinois University is a public research university located in the city of DeKalb and has several satellite campuses throughout the state. It has a student enrollment of 25,000 and is comprised of seven degree-granting colleges. Many of NIU's academic programmes, including business, engineering, teaching and nursing, are nationally accredited for meeting the highest standards of academic quality.

April 2015: This spring, SRH Berlin Master's students will have the opportunity to take part in an exciting Business Simulation Game, which is organized in cooperation with the University of Granada. The game is based on a realistic computer simulation of the automobile industry and is a great learning experience!
May 2015: In May 2015, Mathieu van den Hoogenband (previous chairman of Weleda AG) will once again organize a workshop for our Master's students on the subject of leadership and success. During the workshop, titled “Life Stages,” Mathieu van den Hoogenband will reveal his secrets to success and how to incorporate personal and business life into a meaningful and satisfying career.
2014-2020: Congratulations! SRH Hochschule Berlin has just been awarded with the new Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) which qualifies us to participate in the ERASMUS+ program in the years 2014-2020. The new ERASMUS generation will bring some changes which we will inform you about once all of the details have been finalized.
