Future perspectives, International Management M.A. (English)

Our courses prepare you for a career in growing international professions such as compliance manager, contract manager and risk manager. You may begin your professional career as a departmental staff member with expert status, as a divisional line manager, or -upon further qualification- continue as a global manager with direct entry into top management.

Job preparation

At our university, students can forge bridges between studying and employment, so that complications in the important phase after graduation may be avoided. Within the framework of our company projects, students have the opportunity to acquire the competencies which are so very much required on the job market and in the life of employment. Employment-relevant abilities such as social-, IT- and management competencies are trained in all four semesters. The Career Center counsels and supports students to develop employment opportunities from their company projects. Such activities encompass:

  • Workshops with corporations
  • Organization of company visits
  • Support of doctorate promotion ambitions

Career Services

Throughout their entire course of studies, students will be advised on career- related matters. Starting with an assessment of their knowledge in the orientation week, academic status reports will monitor the student’s development during the two years of the program. The academic support will be accompanied by events such as information sessions on further language and application training that will take place at varied points within the second semester. In the third semester, students have the opportunity to receive individualized career planning advice from our Career Service Advisor, Klaus Hölz, a former executive at Daimler GmbH. Based on the student’s individual performance and development as well as their academic status, Klaus Hölz will collaborate with the student in order to create a strategic plan for the internship and Master’s thesis.

A second facet of our Career Services can be found within company projects throughout the studies and the internship. These projects are excellent opportunities to shape the student’s practical and professional profile.
