Your Participation in the ERASMUS+ Programme

The ERASMUS+ programme provides numerous benefits to its participants. Participation is open not only to all outgoing students, interns, lecturers and staff members, but also to incoming staff members from enterprises – as long as they fulfill the eligibility criteria. 

General FAQs about the Eligibility and Benefits of the ERASMUS+ Programme

Your rights and obligations as an ERASMUS+ student are summarized in the ERASMUS+ Student Charter which is provided by the International Office.

Benefits:

  • Academic credit for courses which were successfully completed at the host university
  • Tuition fees waived at the host university
  • Administrative and cultural support from the International Office
  • Language support via the Online Linguistic Support (OLS)
  • Financial support in terms of ERASMUS+ funding
  • Special grants for students travelling with their child(ren)
  • Special grants for students with disabilities
  • Multiple participations possible (up to 12 months in each of the following study cycles: Bachelor, Master, Doctorate; including participation in the ERASMUS+ internship programme)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Degree student at SRH Hochschule Berlin (enrolled and registered in a programme which, after successful completion, will be completed with a Bachelor or Master degree issued by SRH Hochschule Berlin)
  • Minimum of 2 semesters completed at SRH Hochschule Berlin
  • Study stay abroad at one of the ERASMUS+ partner institutions of SRH Hochschule Berlin which is located in an ERASMUS+ programme country (excluding Germany and country of permanent residence)
  • Home and host university with valid ERASMUS+ Charter (ECHE)
  • Duration of study abroad programme: between 3 and 12 consecutive months (without any interruptions)
  • The total duration of ERASMUS+ sponsored mobilities (including the participation in the previous programme ERASMUS LLP and participation in the ERASMUS internship programme SMP) does not exceed 12 months per study cycle (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate)
  • No additional funding from the European Union
  • No outstanding balance at SRH Hochschule Berlin
  • Adherence to all ERASMUS+ related rules and regulations as described in the Grant Agreement, the Learning Agreement and all other relevant documents and notifications
  • Check with the International Office for additional eligibility criteria that may apply

  • EU internship contract between student, host company and university
  • Administrative support from the Career Service and the host company
  • Language support via the Online Linguistic Support (OLS)
  • Financial support in terms of ERASMUS+ funding
  • Special grants for students travelling with their child(ren)
  • Special grants for students with disabilities
  • Multiple participations possible (up to 12 months in each of the following study cycles: Bachelor, Master, Doctorate; including participation in the ERASMUS+ study abroad programme)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Degree student at SRH Hochschule Berlin (enrolled and registered in a programme which, after successful completion, will be completed with a Bachelor or Master degree issued by SRH Hochschule Berlin)
  • Minimum of 2 semesters completed at SRH Hochschule Berlin
  • Internship takes place in an ERASMUS+ programme country (excluding Germany and country of permanent residence), either during or shortly after the completion of your study programme
  • Internship does not take place at the following institutions: institutions of the EU, national diplomatic agencies, organizations which administer EU programmes
  • Home university with valid ERASMUS+ Charter (ECHE)
  • Internship duration between 2 and 12 consecutive months (without any interruptions)
  • The total duration of ERASMUS+ sponsored mobilities (including the participation in the previous programme ERASMUS LLP and participation in the ERASMUS study abroad programme SMS) does not exceed 12 months per study cycle (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate)
  • No additional funding from the European Union
  • No outstanding balance at SRH Hochschule Berlin
  • Adherence to all ERASMUS+ related rules and regulations as described in the Grant Agreement, the Learning Agreement and all other relevant documents and notifications
  • Check with the Career Services of SRH Hochschule Berlin and TU Berlin (which serves as the managing authority for our ERASMUS+ SMP Internship Consortium) for additional eligibility criteria that may apply

  • Share your experience and international perspective with foreign students
  • Establish useful contacts with students, faculty and staff from the host university for potential research, development, thesis and/or company projects
  • Experience foreign learning and teaching methods
  • Contribute to the international dimension of SRH Hochschule Berlin
  • Receive administrative and cultural support from the International Office
  • Receive financial support in terms of ERASMUS+ funding
  • Lecturers with disabilities of at least GdB 50 may qualify for additional ERASMUS+ funding
  • Multiple participations possible

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Employee/faculty member of SRH Hochschule Berlin (e.g. professors, research associates)
  • Lecture to take place at one of the ERASMUS+ partner institutions of SRH Hochschule Berlin which is located in an ERASMUS+ programme country (excluding Germany and country of permanent residence)
  • Home and host university with valid ERASMUS+ Charter (ECHE)
  • Duration of guest lecture: 2 to 60 consecutive (lecture) days (travel days should be excluded when calculating the duration) and a minimum of 8 hours of instruction for the first week or increment thereof.
  • Guest lecturers staying for more than 7 days can calculate the teaching hours for the additional days as follows: 8 hours divided by 5 days multiplied by the number of additional days.
  • No additional funding from the European Union
  • Adherence to all ERASMUS+ related rules and regulations as described in the Grant Agreement, the Mobility Agreement and all other relevant documents and notifications
  • Check with the International Office for additional eligibility criteria that may apply

  • Share your experience and international perspective with our students by giving them insights into the day to day business world
  • Establish useful contacts with our students, faculty and staff for potential research, development, thesis and/or company projects
  • Receive administrative and cultural support from the International Office
  • Receive financial support in terms of ERASMUS+ funding
  • Lecturers with disabilities of at least GdB 50 may qualify for additional ERASMUS+ funding
  • Multiple participations possible

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Staff members of enterprises are eligible to participate as long as their permanent, primary residence is not in Germany AND the company they work for - along with the location of their permanent work space - is situated in a country which participates in the ERASMUS+ programme (but outside of Germany)
  • Duration of guest lecture: 2 to 60 consecutive (lecture) days (travel days should be excluded when calculating the duration) and a minimum of 8 hours of instruction for the first week or increment thereof.
  • Guest lecturers staying for more than 7 days can calculate the teaching hours for the additional days as follows: 8 hours divided by 5 days multiplied by the number of additional days.
  • No additional funding from the European Union
  • Adherence to all ERASMUS+ related rules and regulations as described in the Grant Agreement, the Mobility Agreement and all other relevant documents and notifications
  • Check with the International Office for additional eligibility criteria that may apply

  • Use the staff exchange for personal and professional development: share ideas and examples for best practice with staff members responsible for your field of work at the partner university in order to gain valuable insights and benefit from their experience
  • Establish useful contacts with faculty and staff members from the host university for future cooperation
  • Contribute to the international dimension of SRH Hochschule Berlin
  • Receive administrative and cultural support from the International Office
  • Receive financial support in terms of ERASMUS+ funding
  • Staff members with disabilities of at least GdB 50 may qualify for additional ERASMUS+ funding
  • Multiple participations possible

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Employee/faculty member of SRH Hochschule Berlin (e.g. library staff, marketing staff, study programme director)
  • Options for staff exchange: job shadowing, joint workshops/seminars, development of joint projects, etc.
  • Staff exchange to take place at one of the ERASMUS+ partner institutions of SRH Hochschule Berlin which is located in an ERASMUS+ programme country (excluding Germany and country of permanent residence)
  • Home and host university with valid ERASMUS+ Charter (ECHE)
  • Duration of staff exchange: 2 to 60 (lecture) days (travel days should be excluded when calculating the duration) with an adequate number of work hours per day
  • No additional funding from the European Union
  • Adherence to all ERASMUS+ related rules and regulations as described in the Grant Agreement, the Mobility Agreement and all other relevant documents and notifications
  • Check with the International Office for additional eligibility criteria that may apply
