Harvard Poster Award
Prestigious award goes to researchers of SRH Hochschule Berlin
Carolin Graßmann, Dr. Franziska Schölmerich and Prof. Dr. Carsten Schermuly receive Best Poster Award at the Harvard Medical School Coaching Conference
During the 10th Annual Coaching in Leadership and Healthcare Conference on 14 October Carolin Graßmann, Dr. Franziska Schölmerich and Prof. Dr. Carsten Schermuly won the Best Poster Award for their meta analysis of the client-coach relationship in coaching.
"It was an honour to be accepted by the coaching conference in the first place. But now that we've won 1st prize for our poster, I am super happy" says Carolin Graßmann, lead author and Research Associate at SRH Hochschule Berlin.
In order to receive the renowned Best Poster Award, researchers need to demonstrate their ability to outline and present their current research findings on a single poster.
The research team's meta analysis „The relationship between working alliance and client outcomes in coaching: A meta-analytic review” shows how the client-coach relationship quality has an impact on the coaching outcomes.
The analysis which takes a variety of studies into account, reveals that the relationship quality is not only linked to client satisfaction but also the achievement of objectives and the prevention of negative effects.
