SRH Hochschule Berlin celebrates its graduates
Ready for an international career: SRH Hochschule Berlin bids farewell to graduates from 38 countries
On Monday 25 September SRH Hochschule Berlin bid farewell to its graduates. The former business students are now well equipped for a global career due to their internationally recognised Bachelor, Master and MBA degrees and the multicultural and international education they have experienced at SRH.
Professor Dr. Victoria Büsch, President of the university, addressed the graduates in her speech: "This is your day! After weeks and months of hard work and final exams you have completed your studies and are now prepared to discover the world. If you combine your degree with your intercultural skills, your curiosity and your courage, you can expect a promising future."
Before receiving their certificates, the valedictorians shared their experiences and expectations with the audience. MBA alumnus Dr. Feras Alsaleh from Syria gave a moving speech about how his new MBA changed his life: "I have learned a lot in this programme. But I have learned even more by living in this great country that has also once been destroyed by war and was rebuild with a lot of commitment and humanity. I hope that every Syrian in Germany, including me, is able to use that experience in order to help us rebuild our own country."
Wolfgang Grenke, CEO of GRENKE AG, was the guest of honour. During the ceremony Prof. Dr. Büsch awarded the Honorary Senator title of SRH Hochschule Berlin to Mr Grenke, thanking him for his commitment in the area of entrepreneurship. Other honorary guests included representatives of our partner universities in Paris, Dublin and Wroclaw.
After throwing their graduation caps in the air, our alumni celebrated their degrees with professors and guests and had the opportunity to look back at their university years and were able to share future plans.
