What is the Deutschlandstipendium?
The "Deutschlandstipendium" (Germany Scholarship) is a national initiative to support highly talented students. Half of the grant is paid by the federal government and the other half comes from a private business sponsor.
The aim of the scholarship is to help outstanding students with above-average academic performance (regardless of nationality) to focus on their studies.
- The non-repayable scholarship consists of € 300 per month whereby € 150 are paid by a private sponsor and € 150 are paid by the federal government.
- The scholarship can be combined with BAföG and is independent of income.
- The scholarship is granted for one year.
A selection process for available scholarships is carried out at SRH Hochschule Berlin at least once a year. The deadline for applications and the amount of available scholarships depend on the funds raised from private sponsors. Information about scholarship availability and the selection process is made available on the homepage and in different channels at the university (e.g. mailings, posters, study programme directors).
