06 March 2018: A book by Prof. Dr. Ian Towers and Prof. Dr. Peter Eichhorn, the former president of SRH Hochschule Berlin, has just been published by Springer. "Principles of Management: Efficiency and Effectiveness in the Private and Public Sector" presents an overview of how the activities of any kind of organisation can be managed to satisfy the needs of stakeholders through the cost effective, operationally efficient and sustainable transformation of resources into outputs.
02 February 2018: Prof. Dr. Carsten Schermuly has passed his dissertation at Helmut-Schmidt-Universität Hamburg. The full title of his work reads: "Psychologisches Empowerment als Mediator zwischen Arbeitsbedingungen und Arbeitswirkungen in der organisationalen Praxis". 01 February 2018: Prof. Dr. Carsten Schermuly's peer-reviewed article "Client dropout from business coaching" (in press) has been accepted to be published in the Consulting Psychology Journal: Practice and Research. Schermuly's scoop is to compare cut-short coachings with 'normal' ones on a larger scale.

15 August 2017: Dr. Ognyan Seizov, together with Dr. Janina Wildfeuer (University of Bremen), has published the edited volume “New Studies in Multimodality: Conceptual and Methodological Elaborations”. The book includes 12 chapters on the state of the art in the theory and practice of multimodal media research.
21 - 22 July 2017: Prof. Dr. Alexander J. Wulf presents his paper "The lack of legal forms for public enterprises. 3-5 July 2017: Prof. Dr. Ian Towers presented a paper - “The Academic Precariat in Germany: Struggling to Organise” - which analyses the process of casualisation of the academic labour force at German universities and how those affected by precarity are organising themselves, inside and outside unions.
23 - 24 July 2017: Linda Müller, SRH-master student of business psychology, gave a talk at the 7th annual Conference of the association "Gesellschaft – Alter – Medien". She presented the results of her master thesis that was supervised by Prof. Dr. Christina Stecker.
