Research Projects

Project 1: 

The research project Practicing Risk Management in SMEs began in June 2012 as a joint research project between Marmara University Istanbul and SRH Hochschule Berlin. The project involved close to 300 interviews with managers of leading businesses in Germany and Turkey. Its goal was to investigate cultural difference in risk management in the two countries and ultimately make recommendations for German and Turkish businesses on the basis of the research results.

June 2012 - March 2014

Project 2:

With the support of the German/Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industries in Berlin and Istanbul, this project is the continuation of our investigation into cultural differences in risk management in German companies in Turkey and Turkish companies in Germany.

April 2015 - 2020
