The "B.A. Development | Digital Products + Services" is the only development-focused accredited Bachelor's programme in Germany that turns you into a sought-after UX/UI designer, full stack developer, web engineer or strategist. The programme combines media informatics, design, people and society in a sustainable way.

The Bachelor's programme provides you with an international, hands-on and business-oriented education. You learn how to coordinate projects, work in teams with designers, copywriters and marketing experts, advise clients, derive concepts from ideas and implement them. Our students work on assignments for clients from all over the world during their studies - an ideal preparation for your international career.

The programme is taught at our Campus "Berlin School of Design and Communication" in Berlin Kreuzberg.

Become an interaction designer, web developer and conceptioner and receive a globally-recognised Bachelor's degree.

Improve your expertise in social media and content engineering, script languages, software architecture and usability aspects. You can start your studies at SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences in the winter or summer semesters. We will carefully review your application and invite you to our interview if your qualifications meet our Bachelor's study criteria. Applying is free of charge.

Admission requirements
Admission requirements vary according to the educational background and citizenship of all applicants.

The basic requirements are:

  • General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife)
  • personal/telephone interview 
  • digital portfolio with 3 to 4 pieces of your own work (e.g. Photoshop, idea sketches, web designs, your own websites) in the area of new media
  • Proof of English language proficiency

All applications are examined individually to determine if they meet the admission requirements.

Proof of language skills
The following English proficiency tests are accepted:

  • TOEFL 87 ibt
  • TOEIC Listening/Reading 785, Speaking 160, Writing 150
  • IELTS (academic) 6.5
  • CAE (grades A, B, or C)
  • CPE (grades A, B or C)
  • Pearson English Test Academic (PTE-A): 59 Points
  • B2 First: 173

Applicants with professional training
Each applicant who completed professional training and has several years of work experience must pass an eligibility test to be admitted to university.
