What our students say about us Vanda Friedrichs
What motivated you to study at SRH Hochschule Berlin?
I have always been interested in business and how they operate but had a conflicting interest of also pursuing the renewable energy sector. This issue was resolved thanks to the fusion of the two subjects in IBARE at SRH. On top of that, the university offered the courses in English, making it more international and also encouraging students to learn another language. In my case it was Spanish, a language I always wanted to study. These were one of the major factors that motivated me to study at SRH.
What do you enjoy about your studies/your university the most?
The university is very multicultural, having students from all over the world from Iran to Thailand and Norway. This makes the experience at SRH very enjoyable and exciting when you meet new people. Additionally, I really enjoy the support of the university. They gave me the opportunity to take part in the university blog, the professors consult my classmates and I when we wanted to start a solar street lamp project with to eventually support refugees. Finally, I have also had the chance to receive a scholarship to help support me financially throughout my studies.
How will your degree from SRH help you reach your professional goals?
My goal for the future is to one day take part in the renewable energy movement and educate the community on the topic. The business and green energy knowledge I have acquired at SRH will help me influence my community positively. It will enable me to continue my studies to pursue a higher qualification in order to become an potential educator of society.
