Due to the advancements in computing power and the development of advanced algorithms, collecting, storing, analysing and visualising these data is now easier than ever before.

Getting a thorough theoretical and practical understanding of all aspects of big data, however, is becoming more and more complex and has created new industries and a range of upcoming careers for professionals and aspiring university graduates.
