Today's manufacturing is digital, connected and smart. Processes are optimised thanks to the use of robotics, virtual reality and systems that are able to learn. Thus, specialists with technological and managerial expertise are in high demand.

The interdisciplinary scope of the programme helps our Master of Engineering students to design, implement and market innovative systems and technologies and strengthens their soft skills – thanks to the project- and skill-based approach.  

The curriculum includes modules on Additive Manufacturing, Automation and Cyber Security. Apart from Risk, Product Lifecycle and Change Management, modules on Sustainability, Circular Economy and Artificial Intelligence are incorporated into the study programme, so students receive a well-rounded management education that turns them into managers with a sustainable and future-oriented mindset.

Being the pioneers of the digital industry, they are capable of driving new technologies and innovation. Upon graduation they are sought-after experts in technology management and industry 4.0.

Admission requirements
Admission requirements vary according to the educational background and citizenship of applicants.

Bachelor's degree in

  • Engineering (Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc.) or 
  • (Natural) Sciences or
  • equivalent degree in the same area of studies.

During their previous studies, students need to have had the following subjects incl. the required credits and study workload:

Note: 1 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit point is equivalent to 30h of study workload.

Mathematics (Algebra, Analysis):  24 ECTS credits x 30h = 720h workload

Sciences (Physics, Chemistry): 24 ECTS credits x 30h = 720h workload

Computer Science or similar: 12 ECTS credits x 30h = 360h workload

Further requirements are

  • proof of English language proficiency and
  • successful participation in the selection process. 

All applications are examined individually to determine if they meet the admission requirements.

The following English proficiency tests are accepted:

  • TOEFL 87 ibt
  • TOEIC Listening/Reading 785, Speaking 160, Writing 150
  • IELTS (academic) 6.5
  • CAE (grade A, B, or C)
  • CPE (grade A, B or C)
